I haven't sledded in a long time. Sure sounds like fun, but then again, so does sitting by a roaring fire with a cup of hot cocoa. I'll take the cocoa please. hehe
Today we were to do emboss resist, one of my favorite things to do......my card.....
I drew this sledder yesterday, colored him with prisma pencils/gamsol. Lightly penciled in the hills, then stamped the Rubbernecker Trees with peeled paint. Re-stamped them with versamark white ep'ing them.
Shaded the snowhills with acrylic paint, then sponged on some whisper white and white eb'd. Got carried away with the snow look. Oh well.
For the sky, I stamped Rubbernecker snowflakes with clear eb, then sponged stormy sky over top. Layered this with a white cs panel that I sponged the edges with red pepper then clear ep'd.
Put this on a white AC square card, made a bow which qualifies this for the CAS96 challenge today. Done.
Well, a brief windy rainy storm blew through last night, made for lot's of leaves to net out of the pools today. Job security I call that. hehe.......have a great week everyone!......TFL :0)

I'm with you on the cup of hot cocoa beside the roaring fire! Great job with all the emboss resist and cute snowman! All your snow reminds me of the foot we got at my Mom's on the 28th. I'll take this Ca. weather any day.
I think how you did your embossing looks like the cute snowman is making the snow fly as he heads down the hill. Cool effect. I would definitely take the hot cocoa, too.

I have to be quick--hubby wants me to take him to pick up his car. But I couldn't leave the gallery without telling you what a winner this card is. Love the snowman sledding down the hill. I'll be back soon to read your details. Beautiful card!!!
