This is my studio where I create cards and scrapbooks. When we moved to this home several years ago I turned one of the bedrooms into my studio. This is the view when you walk in the door. The windows bring in great sunshine and look out on the front of the house.
But it wasn't until May that I was able to replace the hodgepodge furniture (an old kitchen table, a huge computer desk, and a vintage '50s card table) with these white desks from IKEA and the workspace built from Store-in Style cubes with a laminate top. We will likely move again in a few years so I wanted pieces that I could take with me to the future home.
Previous the room was painted in rust and had a duck border. Definitely not me so my husband and I took several days off work and painted the room in my favorite color blue with the accent *aloa vera* wall which looks like Certainly Celery to me. DH has been a wonderful cheerleader for my passion and spent hours dreaming, planning and working to make this room a reality for me.
I still have some work to do with organizing and getting art work for the walls, but it is finally very functional and fairly clean so I thought I'd would post the pictures.
I want to thank all those who have posted their space; I got so many good ideas from all of you. This is an incredible community! Thanks for looking.

WOW, the paint job looks really pretty - I like those colors too!! I also love the clean white surfaces in your room. I see you have your sewing machine there. I really should fix mine up and try to use it.
