It would be fun to keep stamps in it, but this is for my seven-year-old daughter's bedroom. She's totally thrilled with it! It started as unfinished pine. It's got about four coats of white paint on it, then the stamping. Stamping actually was very fast! It took a few days because of the need to let the butterflies and flowers dry before adding the second layer, but the stamping was simple.
One thing you can't see in the photos is a couple of secret butterflies on the inside of the cabinet doors. That's my daughter's favorite part.

Question....did you put a clear coat on this when you were done with the butterflies? This is WAY cute...I am getting ready to redo room for my 3&5 year old girls. They would LOVE this.

I didn't put any kind of clear coat on it, but might in the future, depending on how rough it looks like the kids will be on it. Even though I did the four coats of white over several *months* (with the cabinet sitting in my way the entire time, of course), I'm kind of ready to move on, so I'll stop here for now.
