Hi there,
Thank you!. Torn paper marbling is a technique from patstamps.com but basically you tear a piece of paper, creating a jagged edge, and using either the petal points or ink with a sponge you apply the color along the edge of the paper. You move your paper around so that it creates a marbled look and all the paper is coverded. You can stop there but if you want you can then add one of the pigment inks (gold, silver, copper) as a seam. You do this by tearing apart another part of your paper but hold the two edges close together so that only a little bit of CS shows through. Then you fill the space between the paper with pigment ink - the effect is like a vein. You only do a couple to highlight. If you use the pigment ink then you will need to spray it with a matte acrylic to make sure that you don't smear the veins. It sounds hard but it really isn't - just takes a little time.
If you are interested there are several examples on SplitCoastStampers.com just key in torn paper marbling in the search field and it will pull them all up.
