I am reorganizing my stamping area and am using these divider things (sorry my brain isn't working tonight) to put the four main SU color families of cardstock. Since some of my cardstock was jumbled in with other cardstock, I sorted it out into color families using the stamp pads and the catalog. I then punched a piece from each of the 48 colors using the Scallop Circle punch. I took the Stampin Color Index Labels and put the correct label on the 48 samples of cardstock. Finally, I punched a 1/4" hole in each sample and mounted it on a round hook (not sure what to call it tonight!) with a white sample in the front with the name of the color family. Took lots of time but was truly worth it. Now I am hoping to do the same with the seasonal colors SU comes out with.

Awesome idea. I always have trouble identifying them. How do you store your cardstock. Looking for ideas because I have mine in a file cabinet but they are really hard to get to. Thank you for the idea.

LOVE this idea! So easy to have around!
I store my paper in hanging file folders in a rolling file thingy (sorry - don't know the technical terms!) I roll it out when I do clubs and workshops and roll it back into my storage closet when finished - it's a beautiful thing! I toss the scraps on the bottom tray of the rolling thing and sort when i get around to it. Tow complete color families will fit in each so I have two rolling things. All my folder tabs have a piece of the paper in them so I can visually see what is there and I wrote the paper names in marker under the tabs.

Love this idea. What a great way for workshop attendees to see and feel the cardstock without having to take alot of the actual stuff. I've gotta make a set for my next workshop!
