Congratulations are in order to Stephanie.hargis for being selected as this weeks featured stamper! It's been fun strolling through your gallery and choosing a case to make my own! My card is VERY loosely based on this card[/color]
I changed the colors and omitted the ribbon, but kept the sketch somewhat the same.
My main image is hand stamped with unmounted alphabet stamps from Purple Onion Designs. I outlined them with a black puff pen. The scratched notebook paper is a Queens' Dresser Drawers unmounted...inked with TH di old paper. I punched the holes and tore the edges to get the spiral look of notebook paper. I used Brazill bling to cut the petite scalloped circle mat. The dictionary page is real...ripped from a thrift store find! I wadded up for extra effect...try crumbling paper sometime, it's a blast!
My background card base is a Daisy D Harlequin aged 12x12. I cut the right points to further accentuate my textures. The copper stickers are from K&co's Urban Rhaposody.
It's wonderful to find that place to call your very own, your style, your *U*. To be confident now matter where the fashion winds blow...and that's me crumbling up pages of a long discarded book and it's Stephanie Hargis with her young fresh style! Enjoy your day on SCS, Stephanie...as for me...I think I'll go make blueberry crumble with berries from my garden...see you back here later. Thanks for your comment-----tell me how you define yourself! Please.

Wonderful card Susan - love the letters and crumpled torn page - super creative on the notebook hole thing! I am definately still a work in progress - just like my cards! I never would have thought 10 years ago that I'd be doing all this creative stamping like an addict now!!! I love who you are as a stamper and maker of desserts from your garden!!

Your wit is what makes the essence of your art. It's what ties it all together, it's what adds the joy to every piece. Always amazing to me.

Interesting question, Susan and a very interesting and lush card from you today. Love all the details and crumpling. Definition of me at the moment is... I'm a learner! I do think that the people around us and close to us define us in some ways too. What do you think?
