AOL CD's are the best for this technique because you can find them anywhere and they are FREE! They also break much easier if you score them with an exacto first.

The cd has a natural luminescence. It shimmers all on it�s own! Using teal and turquoise accent colors helped bring out the natural colors in the CD, and it makes for a striking presentation as well. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Michelle, MN

When I seen it last night I had to try to make something similar, but it didn't turn out. It didn't have the colors in the CD like yours.

The colors are from stamping on the "data" part of the cd, not the label part. When you move the cd back and forth, you can see the "rainbow" of colors. A cd that has data on it will look darker in-color than a cd which does not have data on it. Hope this helps! Michelle, MN
