I needed to make thank you cards for the ladies that participated in an extended Bible study in my home over the past 3 months.
I decided to use a matchbook design. The scalloped edge is sponged. The scalloped flap at right is stapled in position and a piece of ribbon adhered over the staple. Edges of River-Rock card stock pieces are sponged. Liquid Pearls are applied in the corners near where the ticket corner punch was used.
Inside, dotto adhesive was used to hold down an individually sealed tea bag tucked in at the scalloped flap and wrote next it, "You warm my heart".
When done, and coming back to this a couple days later, I realized this looked somewhat like a wedding invitation ... and thought that was really cool. Then I realized this was a matchbook, a book of matches, and how that played into being on fire for the Lord. All so neat and so appropriate for this group and our completed study.
