I love stamping every day items to make gifts. I painted and stamped clay pots, added handstamped mini seed packets and tools, then donated them to a school fundraiser.
These are gorgeous! My family and I are a homeschooling family of 6 and we love to stamp and make cards and gifts to bless other people.
This is a fabulous idea! How do you stamp on the clay pots after they are painted? I have tried stamping on round, circular objects and it is tough!! What is your method here? Please send us your clear directions? Thank you for sharing with us. Many Grandmas and Aunties would be very happy to receive one of these beautiful, hand-crafted items from us!
Thank you so much! We appreciate you taking the time to reply to our inquiry.

Thank you ! I don't really have a special method. I am right handed, so I stamp with my right hand while, depending upon the odd shaped object I am crafting with, I either hold it upside down over my left hand or I lay the object on its side. Either way, I slightly roll the object and the stamp at the same time. The painted pots I have done are terra cotta pots that I paint with indoor/outdoor acrylic crafters paints then heat set according to the manufacturers directions. I've stamped with both acrylic paints and Stazon inks. Most times if you make a mistake while stamping with the paints, you can gently wipe it off right away with a damp rag. I wouldn't plant something directly in the painted pots, instead place a plastic pot inside of it just in case the moisture wicks through the terra cotta and ruins the paint. Also, you can seal the inside of the terra cotta pot. If you haven't already done so, a fun idea is to use pictures of the childrens faces on flowers, then pot those; here is my version http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/991767?cat=500&ppuser=100
