I have wanted to play in the Fan Club Fashion Follies Challenge and I'm off today, so I played. The background seersucker swatches are stamped with Boho BG's flower and then run thru the crimper and ink applied DTP (Lindylou1220 would be MORTIFIED to see me Scrubbing my inkpads over the paper), then run thru the crimper in the other direction and more ink applied. Yes Linda they survived! I spritzed the pieces with water to mute the intensity of the color. Colors are: pumpkin stamping on white and marigold, then banana or saffron added DTP, sky and white stamped with bayou and sky DTP, pomegranate stamping with pom and pretty in pink DTP, and wasabi stamping with celery DTP. I don't have a cute dress stamp and Haute Couture dress is too fancy for seersucker, so I drew my own dress on the Bo Bunny 2 sided DP and cut the pleats out freehand (or freescissors I guess). I outlined the dress with a Copic multiliner and added some shading with copics.
This card is Loooong-legal size-cause I made the swatches first and then had to have a card to fit.
For the More is More challenge, the bottom card has the corners rounded, extra brads, the dress has a thin layer of black directly behind it and faux stitching. I only stitched at the top of the swatches, because in my head if it was real swatches you would want to be able to feel them, like in a swatch book. I love that the fancy paper clips, that came with some pkging for origami paper (not related to these cards) happened to mirror the exclamation point. I made the hanger and popped the dress and sentiment on pop dots.
Credit for the original seersucker goes to Tillyhead-I may have kicked it up a notch, but she showed me first.
