DH just loves this card; he put it on his desk so he can look at it every day! When I started making this card (at later than the last minute, natch!) all I knew was I wanted to use the Martha Stewart wedding set I have and one of the flourished notecards from the MS line. It evolved into this from there.
Stamoed the frame in Graphite Black, made a mask for this on a post-it note. Stamped "bliss" from Noteworthy in the centre of the frame. Masked off the frame and stamped the large flower randomly in Versamark. Dusted copper Perfect Pearls over Versamark and sealed with Blair Workable Fixative in matte.
Coloured the frame using a Chartreuse, turquoise, and red colour combo, blended with OMS. Coloured around edges of card with reds and brownish reds and blended over entire surface. That wasn't my plan, but the Perfect Pearls pigment got blended too by the OMS so I was working with a lot more colour than I planned and had to work it over the entire surface or it would look dumb. Doodled around the perimiter as a finishing touch to define the edges and balance out the strong frame in the middle.
Thanks for looking!!!!
