This is the best I can do. The strips on top need to be cut a little long to adjust for getting them lined up with the line you draw on the lid to make it look dimensional. Be sure to draw the line before putting the "ribbon" strips down. I drew a guide to use for the line. The strips that go down the package are just pieces of cardstock cut the same width as the strips on the lid. Cut these longer than the package and then trim when in place. I showed you where to score but I found that if you fold the card to match up the points at the bottom it works better. Then score the side of the edge you folded over. Things line up better. Put tacky tape on the narrow scored edge and tuck in. Use adhesive along the bottom. I printed this out myself before uploading to the site and the lid looks too small. You may have to tweak it some. If anyone wants the full pattern you can e-mail me and I can give you my address and you can send me a self-addressed stamped envelope and I would be more than happy to mail you both sizes of the template that aren't distorted. Or someone can tell me how to do this better. My e-mail address is [email protected]
I hope this helps.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was going to try to figure this out myself since you had so many requests for instructions--I didn't want to bug you about it. I'd really like to try this!

Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks so much for the template. What are the dimensions? Does this fit on a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper? You can be sure I will be spending my whole evening making a few of these. Thanks again!!
