I was inspired by so many of the acetate cards I have seen in this gallery that I decided to give my own a try.
With each card design I tried a new technique. The flower on the front of this card was made from acetate also. I painted a flower stamp and pressed the image on the 'tooth' side of the acetate. When it was dry I turned it over and stamped with an outline flower stamp using white Staz-On. I cut the flower out and added a mini magnet to the flower center. The 'opposite' magnet is hidden in the paper strip across the front of this card. So, if the recipient wanted to, they could use the flower as a magnet on their fridge .. or whatever.
The other thing that was fun ... I printed 'happy birthday' on the front of the card. And, using a make up sponge, I swiped a bit of the pink paint across the back of the acetate to highlight the words.
