Since today's challenge TCL174 was titled "Hitting the Bottle" I figured it was a good time to use the drunken watercolor techinique. I came across this on Jody Morrow's Blog (http://confessionsofaribbonaddict.bl...atercolor.html) awhile ago, but haven't tried it since I have Copics and use them most of the time. This is a FANTASTIC alternative if you don't have them though!! It's a great combination of a watercolored look without the pilling effects of water on the paper.
I used my SU markers for this in Regal Rose, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Garden Green, Bashful Blue and Going Gray, then dipped my blender pen in alcohol (it was an old one that the water had evaporated from) and proceded to pick up the colors from a piece of wax paper and color.
The stamp is from Gina K's new release called Botanical Dreams (www.ginakdesigns.com). I also used brads from her collection.
