Congratulations Diane (lost in the sixtys) for being chosen today's featured stamped! I have long admired your work so I was thrilled to see today was your day! My biggest problem was choosing just one card to case! I may be casing you for weeks to come!
In the end, this is the card I chose to case. I loved the clean simple lines and felt it would be good for a man or a woman, and it seems right now I am in need of man cards.
Honestly, I didn't want to change a thing but since I HAD to.... I changed the following:
~Changed color from black to not quite navy
~Changed the number of brads
~Changed the corner treatments... I don't have the ticket corner so I used the corner rounder
~Because I felt my main image panel got a little lost I dotted it with my Zig Emboss pen and used detail white ep to give the white dotted bg. I wasn't meaning to make snow, but now I know what to do when I want snow! I do however like the fact that it did bump the image panel forward a bit and brought it to life.
I hope I have done Diane's gorgeous card some justice... it was perfect so you can't improve on perfection, but I am happy with the overall look of this, and yes, it was very quick and easy. If you can't tell from the photo, the white side panels are also embossed in white and the white on white is a very elegant look that gets lost in the photo (not in the sixtys!)
Thanks so much for looking!

I love the background...it is just a beautiful case. I know what you mean about Diane's cards...you can't improve on them. I do think you did a wonderful job with the challenge. I'll have to use your 'snow' idea!!
