What a fun inspiration pics for todays Inspiration Challenge. this also fits Beates inspiration challenge this week. (decorated cake)
When I saw this inspiration window here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I immediately thought about using my scor pal for the lines on the bottom part. Hopefully you can see them in the picture. And when I started looking through my DP's I found this perfect dots and circles one from American Crafts.
I almost always buy paper 'just because I like it' with no particular idea of what I want to use it on! so I'm very happy when it works perfectly into a card I'm doing!
And I thought this sentiment from PapertreyInk fit in very well with the arty nature of the card!

I should have known!! I looked at the card without checking who the artist was and my first thought was - what a perfect sentiment for this card!! Then I looked and of COURSE it is you!! What a wonderful card that came out of this IC. Love the DP and the scoring, perfect!

Wow! You did a fabulous interpretation of the FLW inspiration piece! Love the scoring on the white bg. You really captured his contempory style.

This is outstanding, Julia! Love the scoring on the white panel topped by the polkadotted paper and matted in black; it's quite striking!
I do the same thing with dp; buy it just cause it looks so pretty and then wait for a particular inspiration to use it. I have tons of dp, needless to add.
