I used SallyÂ’s sketch (SBSC143) and the Mix It Up Challenge (SBVC30) which was to use 3 designer papers from 3 different makers and also at least 3 embellishments from 3 different companies,
I made this collage page for my DH for FatherÂ’s Day. I put it in a white 12x12 frame. IÂ’ll put a copy in my DGDsÂ’ scrapbook too. I didnÂ’t want it to be too feminine, so I used River Rock as the base. I tried not to add flowers or swirls to keep it a little less girly too. I thought IÂ’d stay with stripes, circles and straight lines. It looks here like the colors clash, but IRL, they donÂ’t. (And the lines are straight too!)
I ran the Orchid strip through my Spots and Dots cuttlebug folder and darkened the circles with chalk.
I just got the Baby Face Cuttlebug alpha dies, and I loved how they worked. ItÂ’s wonderful to never run out of the letters you need!
Journaling: Grandpa became *Pop Pop* when Jaycie started to talk and couldn’t quite say Grandpa yet. At almost 2 ½ years (6/15/0, she can say Grandpa now, but he’s still *Pop Pop.* She just adores him, and the feeling is mutual. Pop Pop/Grandpa/Bob loves *his girls.*
