I am having so much fun with the watercolour wash. I thought I would try it on some labels I had just put away when I tidied up last weekend. I used Cranberry and Denium sprays direct on to a label sheet. When dried I overstamped using Cranberry ink pad not always re-inking to create depth. Transfer labels to maroon card front and layer all this onto card base of softly blue.
Transferring the labels is the trickiest though I have a technique which helps. What I do to transfer labels is to have some re-positional glue spread over a scrap card front then lay this sticky side down on the labels and transfer the labels onto the scrap. then position scrap card with sticky part of labels onto the the layer you want on the card and using a tool eg a prick or the point of a craft knife, ease the labels off the scrap and onto the card front. I also find it wise to cut the card front to size after transferring labels to ensure even borders.

Thanks for your tip! I love how this card turned out (to be honest the white is a bit distracting down the side...but, I don't want to sound critical at all!!)...those flowers are just beautiful!
