This birthday card was for my step son. He really likes Fox Racing clothing so I thought I would make a card using that theme. This isn’t a great picture as of course I took a quick picture just before we signed it and gave it too him – at least this pic wasn’t taken on my lap in the car as we were rushing to a celebration!!
First I did Alcohol Smooshing (like smacking acetate) on Glossy White with some lighter Alcohol Ink colours. Then I cut out a rounded shape out of felt and did the polished stone technique but left some spots so you could see the lighter smooshing. I then stamped over top Sanded BG and then finger walked using Canvas.
Next I searched the net for a Fox Racing logo and with software made an outline and added in the green colour to match the Alcohol Ink background. Also I downloaded a font that was close to the script that has been used on a couple of their t-shirts. I sized them, printed them, cut them out, triple embossed with clear EP, mounted on black glossy, and cut out.
Once I decided where I wanted them I also added in the flourished using the Cotton StazOn (a lot of the young male shirts are using scroll and flourished on them). Also added a few dots using a white gel pen and a black Sharpie
