Wow, Maren...what an awesome gallery you have created! Congratulations on being selected FS the first day of June 2008! I enjoyed perusing your work...I love your bright, graphic style. I finally managed to narrow my case down to this card
For my case, I selected the papers from Cosmo Cricket's LOVE NOTES. I love the old world feel of this paper along with love notes placed around the papers. I cut 5 strips and cuttled/embossed 4 of them. The bottom with textile, the 2nd from bottom in paisley. The middle layer is embossed with allegro which I believe you can see off the bottom left corner of the stamped image. The very top strip I used the diamonds on the right half of the panel. My image (B Line Designs) is inked in Heritage Marvy timeless sepia on SU blush blossom. I cut these mats with the nestabilities, scalloped one and embossed the top layer. The bottom mat is SU perfect plum. I added tulle around the mats and tied on the right side...hiding a hint about my theme.
Thanks so much, Maren for the inspiration and I do hope you enjoy your day in the spotlight. As always, I so appreciate your comments!

Wow, Susan! What struck me first was the beautiful combination of paper strips and how you textured them! I love that Cosmo Cricket collection! But, as with all your cards, it takes a moment to take in all the fine details! The image and sentiments around the sides are wonderful and that tulle, well, it is just gorgeous! Lovely card!
