This is for the Limited Supply Challenge and the Inspiration Challenge. For the LSC, we had to make three cards using the same stamp set, the same cardstock and ink, the same embellishments, the same technique, and use a piece of hardware and ribbon with different layouts for each card.
For the IC, I chose this beautiful gown from the Phantom of the Opera called Christine's Don Juan Ensemble:
Starting with the card on the right, I gold embossed Peaceful Wishes on the Bravo Burgundy cs at the top and used my oval Nestabilities for the main panel. Using the double circle punch, I threaded my ribbon through the right side and placed three gold brads on the left. I used a gold paint pen to color gold just on the ends of the ribbon.
For the middle card, which is designed after the movie gown I was inspired by, I again gold embossed Peaceful Wishes onto the Bravo Burgundy cs and cut a V in my gold cardstock. I punched the gold brad through the organdy ribbon and wrapped and adhered it to the back of the cs.
For the card on the left, I used the oval scraps from the card on the right, thereby having an inverted scallop. For this one, I chose to gold emboss Peaceful Wishes onto gold cardstock and set my oval panel up on dimensionals for some depth.
I'm so excited that I now have three Christmas cards done! What fun challenges these were!
