I made this card for this weeks Double Dog Dare I do with some SCS friends. Beestamper was host this week and we had to make a card using a paint chip and a flower.
This paint chip is Champagne Pink, Crystal Coral and Coral Reefe. I stamped one of the blooms from the Oh So Lovely set by SU. I used Onyx Black Versafine ink to get a dark image but had to let it dry overnight as the chip isn't very absorbant! (translate - I smudged 2 panels before I figured that out!)
The dp is PTI Pink Patterns and the circle frame stamp is from PTI Boxes, bags and Tags, and the little heart is from PTI Borders, & Corners (Hearts). The sentiment is Verve Visual - Wonderful Wishes.
The scalloped and round circles are punched and up on dimensionals.

This is an awesome card Julia! I love the way you used the paintchip.. now I have tried to hasten the drying of the ink with my embossing gun (I'm just a tad impatient).. I think it can work if you don't over do it, but a smoking paintchip isn't any fun.. I do know that! And that little black butterfly is just perfect... we see those all of the time here in the woods hovering around rocks and such looking for minerals I think...

This is gorgeous. I love the flower. Always thought I had to "color" it, and everyone knows I can't color my way out of a paper sack. Love it just stamped as an outline. I gotta try them paint chips.

Now this is what I call a gorgeous paint chip card!!! I love the colors you used and how you stamped the flower on the paint chip....so elegant looking with just the outline in black and the black butterfly!!! Love the sentiment, too....beautifully done, Julia (even if you did follow the rules like a teacher's pet...makes the rest of us rebals look really bad!!)
