I got in my preorder of the new SU! Sneak Peak set Fresh Cuts and the Fresh Cut Notes, so of course I had to play with them! I thought this last week's color combo- soft celery bayou- would be perfect with this stamp set and fun note cards!
The flower in the center of the notecard is die cut, so I just popped-out the petals. I wanted the card to look like it had some layers, so I used Post-It notes to create the masks. I then sponged soft sky and then blue bayou ink to create the layers. I then stamped the vine image in the corners (and on the part of the flower cut-out) with certainly celery ink. I stamped the sentiment on the card front in blue bayou ink. I stamped the bg from the Fresh Cuts set on soft sky cs with certainly celery ink. I cut the piece to 4" x 4" and layered it behind the card front. I stamped the small flower from the set with blue bayou ink on whisper white cs. I cut it out, put an ice circle rhinestone brad through the center, and adhered it over the center of the die-cut flower with a dimensional.
This was the first time that I tried masking the layers of the card and I LOVE how it looks! I will definitely be doing this again. I also love the new Fresh Cuts set and notes, I think they will be getting lots of use.
Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
