I tryed all day, and changed card too many times to count, but I think this one was the best. I couldn't figure out how everyone's butterflys look so stunning. My butterfly is stamped on vellum, colored on the back with marker, and then attached directly over the top of the same butterfly stamped on cardstock. This makes it so much more vivid.

WOW! Thanks so much for the wonderful comments. It was one of those cards that drove me crazy all day...I am so glad I kept working at finding the right combination of background design, color, and words. I wanted a card that could be used as a mothers day card, but also a "thinking of you" or "thank you" card. Just stamp what suits you inside.

Teaready,
Absolutely wonderful. You also might want to experiment with embossing in detail black on front of vellum and painting with iridescent paints (Pearl/Ex) behind. Want to make your butterflies shiny and sturdier? Paint the top with Crystal Effects/Diamond Glaze/Future floor wax. They really look like butterfiles. You picked my absolute favorite stamp - here is link to sample of what my suggestions look like. Nina T.
