My card was created for Innovative Stamp Creations 2nd weekly challenge. This week is a color challenge. The colors I chose were inspired by my favorite shirt. The are Soft Sky, Certainly Celery, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip and River Rock or any neutral is optional. I happened across some beautiful Cardstock/DP by My Minds Eye that is double sided yesterday. One side is a sage/blue solid and the other side is a gorgeous flourish motif. My card base was cut to 8 1/2" x 11" and folded with the solid side of the paper on the outside. Then, I cut 3/4" off the front of the card. The matted layers overlap the shorter front. The gorgeous glass leave charms were a WalMart find from the bead section. The sentiment is stamped on acetate and layered over the DP. The ribbon tabs are May Arts. The edges of the folded card were scraped with my craft toothbrush inked up with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. I prefer versafine for this because it is an oil based pigment ink that dries quite quickly while still allowing time to get the look I want.
