Caville, thank you so much for this challenge--working with vellum. I love all the ways vellum can be used on a card and have done that several times, but I chose a much less use of the vellum--dry embossing on vellum. My inspiration came from oldstmpr's beautiful renditions of Nature Prints. Thanks, oldstmper.
First, you stamp your image on vellum cardstock. Then you turn it over and with your burnishing tool (stylus), just go over the image. It leaves a shadowy white and it puffs up the design. Texture is what this is all about. I attached my flower with a glue dot in the center of the flower and it's a little loose and airy.
