This months DD/DDA challenge is to use OWLS...texture....and NO bling!!!!
Mr. Owl....really wants to be a PIRATE!!!! So, he is doing a skit for the little birdies of the forest in his pirate costume. I added some stubble to his face to make him look a little rough. I created the hat, sword, and eye patch. Isn't he cute!!!!! I love this OWL cause he is big enough to work with and easy to cut out!!!!!
I am so thrilled....I finally have some big trees I do not have to color!!!!! When I saw this new set at CHF by Kim Hughes..The Landing Pad, I just had to have it cause I can make some fabulous trees with these branch pieces...trunks to me!!!!!
What do you think of my OWL PIRATE of the Coast?

Oh, Betty, this is so cute! Love your idea of the *play* and how you gave him a costume, including the stubble! I also love your trees - especially the great embossing of the scalloped circles of leaves. Too, too cute!
