way to go, AmyR for this weeks' sketch challenge, it is a neat one! I've been waiting for just the perfect one to use my new B Line stamps...
I love how my card came together, though there are bits and pieces laying on my counter for the next scrap challenge Jen issues!!! Does that happen to you??? My rose and sentiment are from B Line Designs. I stamped the rose onto K&co Margo mat pack paper piecing the leaves with one of the other papers. I stamped two flowers and popped on foam. The ink I used as VersaColor black and VersaMagic red brick. The sentiment is from the Paintablies series of paper as is some of the bits that DIDN'T make this card. I love those papers are there are very cool sets you can cut down for journaling. I embossed the sentiment in clear ep. And in case you can't read it: "WE were meant to radiate the perfume of good cheer and happiness as much as a rose was made to radiate its sweetness to EVERY passerby!" emphasis mine. My card base is SU ruby red (left over from yesterdays' CC) which has been stamped with Judikins regal damask stamp in tattered rose distress ink and embossed in clear. The beautiful damask grey and cream paper is from Kaiserscrapbook an Australian co. The name of it is Gypsy/vagabond. It is double sided and I used the reverse polka dots to mat the sentiment. There is a glittered brad from MM in the corner of the sentiment and the wonderful circle lace is also MM.
For some of you, roses are blooming like crazy where you are, mine have rich glossy leaves just now. However you find those regal flowers...remember we radiate that beauty everyday! Thanks for looking at my art...
