Well.......this card was done as a friendly challenge with some friends to 'honor' our dear friend, Mothermark. Suggested elements were: google eyes, polka dots, must have story, and must be goofy.
Well here is my story......
1. I had already written my story and printed it to send off with Cindy's card which I mailed on Monday. SOMEHOW, I never saved it, so Cindy has the original story I hoped to post. This one will be the short version.
2 Okay, as many of you know, Cindy is a goofball with the BIGGEST HEART. She is alwasy lifting the spirit of family, friends, and even strangers. The sun represents the sunshine she brings to the lives of others.
3. I used the love stamp as the stem and the hearts-within-heart stamp to again represent the love and support she gifts to the world.
4. The polka dotted flower represents her love of polka dots. Her stamp room is called her DOT ROOM and she loves all things with dots.
5. Mothermark is absolutely goofy and that why the googlie eyes and also why I made her into a flower.
6. I added a bunny just because I was being a bit sappy (truthfully so) about Mothermark's kind and caring spirit and not enough about her goofiness. She has a THING about bunny BUTTS.
7. So that is the shortened and less well spoken story. Enjoy, my dear friend......ENJOY.....
Luv ya, Cindy!

What a wonderful card and what a FABULOUS story!!! Yes, what would we all do without a Mothermark story to read each morning -- as much needed as that morning cup of coffee -- LOL!!! What a great challenge, indeed!!!

What a sweet card this is, Joanne. I love your story to go with it and how precious to put the hearts in hearts to represent her love and support for others. Yes, her story every morning is always wonderful to wake up to.
I think most of us rush to the computer every morning to see what our story is for the day.

No wonder your comment on my card was to have a nice goofy day! Snort!
The first thing about this card that caught my eye was the flower! It looks just like the flowers in my garden....they are a new breed of flowers called Googlyeyesthemum....They are extremely hearty and grow wonderfully in Colorado! The next think that caught my eye was the title of your card....that Goofball Mothermark just jumped right out at me!
I love the heart shaped leaves and look at that awesome bunny butt! Snort! Joanne (Snosnot!) thank you so much for the kind words.....My eyes were watering from giggling and funniness and then I thought...hey maybe the tears are from being *touched!*.....Thank you for both!
I cannot wait to get it! Monday? It won't be long!

Awwww, JoJo, this is so precious, and I love your story which rings so true about Cindy! How perfect that you used a polkadotted prima with the adorable happy face, the sunshine, and the special touch with the bunny! Yes, you definitely know Gertie, don't you?
