These were very messy, but so much fun!! We got different effects by dropping the re-inkers in after the egg!! My son bought the Sports Eggs Kit so we tried to create some footballs, & soocer balls with the brown & black re-inkers!!

What fun! I envy you. I had to dye my eggs all by myself this year for the very first time. It was still fun. I stamped on a bunch of them after they were dyed. My boys, at 14 decided they were too old for this. I never want to get too old! Happy Easter!!

Please tell me, can you actually use reinkers to dye the eggs without the fear of contaminating the egg? This is an awesome idea if it can be done. Its too late for this year but will surely keep a note about in my files for next year.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments!! A lady from here did it the other day and she actually ate the eggs after!! She said the ink didn't go through the shell!! It was funny she also said if I don't post anything tomorrow I'm dead!!!LOL Which she posted yesterday!!! There was also a little girl who ate her mothers black re-inker!! She was told since the ink is non-toxic it wouldn't hurt the baby!!! Hope this helps!!!!

This is too cool. I have 2 granddaughters, one of which will be 3 this month and helped us dye Easter eggs this year. Something I learned from my mom many years ago after all 5 of us left home was that in your heart you can stay young if you follow the traditions that were started in your younger years. She continued to dye Easter eggs after my siblings and I left home and started our own lives. Both of my daughters are grown and have left the next and when Easter rolls around, they knew that when the visited for Easter, there would be dyed eggs along with an Easter basket for each of them. My oldest is married now and has 2 daughters and the youngest (25) is still single...Yep, you gessed it...they had an Easter basket filled with goodies...even my youngest daughter's boyfriend was delighted to get a basket too.;)

My mom does the same thing for us. Yes I'm 30 and still get an Easter Basket!!! My hubby is 31 and loves it as he comes from a broken home and never really got much for the holidays. I made mom an Easter basket this year and all of the stuff to go in it(the pics are in my gallery)!! She loved it.
