The Bird of Paradise has been embossed to provide the outline and in places a second layer of paper piecing which the watercolour area has also been embossed (not sure if you can see this). Clear embossing has been used on the side panels.
My inspiration came from this card Birds of Paradise by blondie090277 at Splitcoaststampers
I wanted something bold for the nurses I work with to say thanks for all your help.

What nurse wouldnt think this is the greatest card anyone could give them as in appreciation for all their care and concern. Totally awesome; wonderfully crafted and beautifully designed.
