Today's Learn a New Technique Challenge was to combine embossing and watercolor. After one failed, but very interesting attempt, I did discover that this is a very useful technique with cool results around the embossing when you watercolor. The card was stamped in Versamark on Soft Sky and embossed with white detail powder. It was then distressed around the edges with chalks. I then watercolored with reinkers and even achieved a reasonable result with white opaque pigment ink on the soft sky giving the daisies sort of a transparent look. I was surprised that I got pretty good hues on a colored background.
