This week's Try a New Technique challenge was to watercolor an embossed image. That WAS a challenge for me. I have not had good luck with watercoloring in the past. I used a watercolor brush with ink squeezed in the inkpad lid to color this image. This sketch started out as Julee's Mojo37, but I couldn't figure out how to incorporate those 3 little tags on the image panel. Oh well, still a lovely sketch without them!
The DP and cardstock are from Papertrey and were RAK'd to me by my friend Sandy (swap4fun). What gorgeous colors these are! The main BG panel is stamped with Aida Cloth with SU Blush Blossom. The little pearl stems were found in the bridal section of Michael's. The sentiment is from Gina K's set, Framed Flowers. TFL.

This is a terrific card. I love the colors. You look like an old pro with your watercoloring. Lovely sketch. Love the pearl type things. I have some and would never have thought of this. Great idea. TFS
