We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and I made this to give to DH to remind him just how little a decade has changed me – lol! Photos of me are quite rare so I thought this would make a nice 'something special' instead of just a card since it was a round number anniversary.
My wedding dress was champagne coloured with a soft green jacket so IÂ’ve used those colours here.
I sponged ink loosely over smooth white card and trimmed to fit the heart. I added some marble 'veining' with a couple of gel pens. The little frame around the 10 was dabbed with Versamark and then brushed over with gold lustre powder (like Pearlex) before having the edges inked with the Peeled Paint pad.
I used one piece from a Crafty Secrets Sweet Chips Heart Album and a mini frame from the pack of die cut shapes along with:
Stamps: Sexy Little Numbers, Frame It and Rosy Wishes (all Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps)
Paper: Smooth white
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint
Accessories: Sweetchips Heart album and die cut shapes, Cream/Brass Hardware Stickers (Heartwarming Vintage), Prismacolor pencils/OMS/stump, 1” silk ribbon, gold lustre powder, white and copper gel pens, pearlescent watercolours.
