I usually print out the sketch challenge each week, and then put it in a notebook and 'forget' it until I need inspiration. I do the same with the color challenges. So, when my friend Jean challenged me to make a card with the sketch challenge - well, I couldn't just sit back - I had to get busy. I really liked the color combination this week - and for ONCE I actually had all the colors - though I used Bazzill black rather than SU.

Very pretty card! Love all the detail work on the turned back edge! Also love the sentiment!

Now that's what I'm talking about! You see, if you do the challenge and upload it on the day, lots of people get to see your artwork and comment. If the card isn't associated with a challenge, you don't get as much press. This is a beautiful card, Paula, and look you used all of your new punches and the sentiment is just wonderful. BTW, I'll be watching my mailbox! Yours will go out tomorrow, too. Hint: You've already kinda seen my return. Way to go, girl.
