Some really great challenges here. I wanted to combine today's wonderful sketch w/ yesterday's lovely color combo and I threw in last Thurs. way to use it simply because there was so much cutting going on in this card.
What I did: I used the scallop ovals Nestabilities set to cut the scalloped ovals out of soft sky, purely pom and black. I used the plain ovals set to cut the white, another black and one out of the dp. The greeting was stamped on bottom of the white one w/ the azalea ink. The bird was stamped on a separate piece of white and cut out. I traced around him w/ a maroon gel pen. Layered all of these together, a little foam tape under the bird and between the blue and black ovals.
I attached a strip of the dp to a strip of the pomegranate and attached these to the folded back strip on the front of my card. I stamped the flowers w/ the soft gold on the inside section. The dp was just a little too busy as it was so I cut out sections of it and attached the pieces on the left side front. Now I did get some pomegranate c/s, but it's limited and I wanted to use as little as I could, so I cut very thin strips and attached them all around to mimic an additional layer. One thin strip is attached to the inside to make the folded strip look symmetrical when the card is closed. TFL

Absolutely gorgeous! I just love the DP you used! The layered ovals look terrific! Great job combining the three challenges! And great way to conserve CS - I'll have to keep that in mind!
