In one of our first homes, we had an antique mirror which we hung a plant in front of. I was trying to recapture that image with this card. Only this basket of flowers is way prettier than my plant was. LOL
I colored the image with copic markers on water color paper then carefully cut it out. I added the wire, because I didn't have time to make a macrame hanger, maybe next time. LOL Put pop ups on the back.
For the mirror, I cut out an oval from card stock that I had put this shiny silver tape on, can't remember what it is called, but I bought it at the hardware store for another technique. It has a sticky side to it that has a paper lining that you peel off. Mounted this onto a scalloped oval, sponged the edges with distress ink.
Put striped dp paper for a wall paper look on the card front, sponged with distress ink to make it look a little more old fashioned. Put it all together with a brad on top for the hanging plant......and that's it.
Hope you enjoy looking at it. It was fun to make. TFL :0)

No comments!!! What is up with that!! This is beautiful. I can see the wire details to make this appear to be a hanging plant. Great detail. When you look at just the thumbnail, it appears to be out from the "wall." This is the one I want you to send to me so I can see in person the mirror behind the flower pot. Cannot wait to get it!!! Another geat card little sister.
Love ya,
Connie Jo
