This adorable image was so much fun to color. I love the way this little guy is helping out a friend. Hummingbirds are definitely one of God's most beautiful creations. I adore watching them and am amazed at their size and speed. So I was trying to think of the colors of the ones I see here at my feeder every summer, and this is what I came up with. A little sakura gel pen added some shimmer to his wings and head, too.
Colored of course with prismacolor pencils and gamsol (those of you who know me-- this is no surprise). Photo corners were done by hand, as I didn't buy the punch yet, and I couldn't resist adding the sentiment Friends (from the Flourishes word set).

This is such a gorgeous card, Kelly! I love the way the hummingbird is 'out of the box' and the color combination is perfect! And didn't you love using the SheetLoads?
