A friend of mine wanted to throw an elegant 'tea party' for her DDIL's 21st birthday. The birthday girl's DH (and friend's DS) is serving in Iraq, so it was important to make this a memorable occasion. I was asked to make up 'elegant' menu card's and name place cards for everyone attending the celebration. The menu was typed on the computer, but the small row of pink flowers was stamped with SU! Pretty in Pink using PaperTrey Inc. stamp set called Limitless Labels. The place cards were handstamped using PTI's Trajan Monogram set.
The menu's were created with an "L" shape prop on the back so that they were upright on the plates and easy to read. Great food; and we had a blast! TFL!

What a great idea! Have had 2 sons serving overseas in Iraq and their wives and children do need extra special attention especially while the partner is gone. Will be keeping this idea handy for the granddaughters! Would certainly appreciate the recipe for the virgin slushy watermelon mojito, too! [email protected]
