I needed to escape a little this weekend, so spent much of my time reaquainting myself with the craft table and it's copious/dust-ridden inventory, playing with colours and relearning techniques. Admittedly, not much technique to this card other than playing with the chalks for the pear and branches. One very important thing I did learn... one should invest in serious finger protection when testing using brand new papersnips after drinking copious amounts of coffee.

OUCH about the paper snips! Been there, done that! Sorry you had to experience that.
I really like the quote stamped on the twill. The distressed edges of the pear panel mimic the fraying of the twill. Nicely done!
