I made this for WSC43, after Beate posted up the right sketch, LOL. Didn't think I'd have time this weekend but made good headway with wedding cake decorations and a girl's entitled to some time out.
I was sure when I started that I had some of that ribbon that is like a stem with leaves on it...no sign of it, or my green velvet ric-rac. So it was down to MM ribbon and some white flower braid that I sponged over with a Cadmium Yellow Colorbox pad. The brown paper is a leather effect. I find it so hard to use - the blue and red are almost intact after 4 years, while so many owls have nested in the brown that there's not much left.
The main paper is BG Mellow, and the stamped images are all from the BG Grow-A-Garden set. The little Happy Birthday tag was stamped with Staz-on Timber Brown onto frosted shrink plastic, and punched out with a tag punch and then shrunk. It's hanging from a Karen Foster loopy brad, tied on with some hemp fibre.
