The first and possibly the last time for Dahlia folding. Either that or use larger punches.
This was done by the inspiration of Flowerfive01 and her card. my first Dahlia by flowerfive01 at Splitcoaststampers
I wanted to do the newest challenge so I saw the flash and knew I had to do it. Unfortunately its late and I think I used the wrong green. OH well, I tried.
I use the real red hostess 6 x 6 for the flowers, every thing else just wasnt red or to thick to fold.
Baroque motifs stamped twice in garden green (should have been glorious green) to cover more of the area. Blue card with night of navy HB. I had to mount the stamp..... like I said its late, well I put the sticker on and forgot to put the rubber on....so my wood is now night of navy. I would have cried if I would have stamped it to the card, since it was the last thing that I had to do.

It looks fabulous!! I know I gave up quickly on the dahlia folding myself - but your card looks wonderful!! Love the button and the leaves and the flourishes in behind - lovely card!!

I think it is very pretty.I love the back ground swirls.Don't give up..
I just made 3 dahlias, 2 will hit the garbage. At least one is acceptable, however I have trouble getting all 8 petals evenly around the base..

Beautiful card! Don't give up yet. I have found that using the 1 3/8 circle punch works well. When I use the scallop punch I seem to need to make a 9th petal because 8 won't fit well.
