Welcome back Beth! Thanks very much for paper tole technique...not as easy as I originally reckoned!
I decided to use Art Impressions wonderful bowl of fruit for this technique...I'm used to fussy cutting and paper piecing; however was difficult. And I'm glad, for if nothing else, I can hone my coloring skills! I used a variety of techniques on the fruit, from watercoloring to markers, and layers of H2O's and back to markers and watercoloring. The apples were giving me fits...they look a bit like pomegranates now! I stamped and matted the main image on MME 29th Street Market group Peaceful Dream Consciousness. The orange layer is Basic Grey's Blush 'delish'. I used SU soft sky as the card base. The Creativity is a Stampers Anonymous stamp which I inked in Versafine Olympic Green and embossed in clear..I used Patina paper from the Archaic group (new Basic Grey). I cut the words apart and stapled around my image.
Now, I don't think this card is ART, but I do allow myself these mistakes because next time I know I will color better...maybe not stay in the lines though! Thanks for humoring me this Monday morn'!
