I am having so much fun with these inchies! It's really interesting to focus in on such a small palette.
Design Details:
*I applied Glossy Accents added to the bird. It may seem almost impossible to cover such a detailed image perfectly, but here's what I do - use the sharp end of a pin to tidy it up if it spills over a little. Lay the pin almost flat to the paper to ensure you don't damage it.
*My favorite part of stamping with Paint Dabbers is the imperfection. If you apply a lot of paint and apply lots of pressure to the stamp, it squishes the paint up around the lines of the image, leaving an embossed look. I love it!
*My friend Kim noticed how perfect the ink coverage on the Happy Birthday sentiment was. I had three words for her - Ranger Archival Ink. That stuff gives the most amazing coverage for rubber stamps and is waterproof to boot which makes it perfect for me since I like to add dimensional accents over my images. You can not use tools like Glossy Accents or Stickles over dye based inks as they both are water-based. You are just asking for the ink to run or smear!
