The limited supply challenge today for embellishments immediately made me think of the polka dot ribbon I've had for YEARS that I have no idea why I bought. I rarely work with the bold and brights colors and I'm ribbon challenged! So today's card was extremely difficult to put together. The stipulation was a floral card, hopefully the flower on the balloon meets that criteria?!? Because I had no idea how to start making a card with the ribbon that has gathered a great deal of dust over the years I used the previous two days' challenges to get me going.
The ballon was spritzed with water for the WT159 challenge and the card layout uses SC169.
My eye likes earthy colors the best so I'm still not sure if I like the card even though it all matches the ribbon. Should be good for a child's birthday I'm thinking.
TFL and thanks for the challenge that made me go way out of my comfort zone!
