Claudia, I'm speechless, and that's a rarity for me! This is so profoundly professional and artistic! I went to Ila's blog and bookmarked her tutorial: you're right, she's definitely an accomplished painter, but so are you, Claudia. Sometimes we're are our worst critics. Claudia you have a magnificent gift ~ it's taking a thought to a finished card worthy of being framed. You are a master painter, and although I am not nor will I ever be a painter, I am astute enough to recognize a gift when I see one: You have a creativity that is all yours: your cards are not like the ones I make or some others make: Yours, all by themselves, stand apart from the many others, however wonderful each of those are!. I applaud your gift and your talents: You have been wonderfully blessed. Art, artistic expression, creativity are all gifts. You've shown us through each one of your cards, what true art looks like. I can only admire them from a gallery! I would want to be just as good as you are with coloring/card creating, but I know that's not my gift to enjoy. But your gift is one that is meant for all others like myself to appreciate and enjoy. I'm so thankful you share your skills with all of us. There is no doubt, what you bring to many of us here at SCS and to our gallery, is nothing less than a beautifully talented artist capable of making others happy just be looking at your cards. For me, it's like going to an art museum and just spending time in front of several paintings/works of art and trying to imagine how they did what they did so beautifully. This is what I do with your cards: I just sit and admire them with total respect for the one who created them. You are a gift and your personality to want to share is another gift! That's another thing I love about you, Claudia.
