 | | My husband and I are attending the Boston Red Sox Season Opener tonight in Japan with another couple who are BIG Red Sox fans. It is our friend's birthday tomorrow so I made him this baseball cap card to match the Cap he bought to wear to tonight's game.
My inspiration came from SmilynStef
Baseball Cap Card by SmilynStef at Splitcoaststampers
And I used the template from House of Stir Fry
http://houseofstirfry.com/chia/templates/tempI.html
I used versamark pad with SU! Just Jeans background stamp on Real Red CS. I masked the bill and then the cap to stamp them seperate since the card was bigger than the stamp. I scored it where the bill meets the cap as well to create more realism in the card. I added faux stitching with a Pink CM pen (red did not show up) where a cap would normally be stitched. I printed a picture of a real cap and cut out the "B" to use as a pattern on Night of Navy CS and then layered on Whisper White CS, using scissor and a hobby blade.
I know it is hard to see all the details in the photo but in real life it looks very cool! TFL |
