Congratulations, Amy (PickleTree) on being honored as todays featured stamper. Your gallery is packed with interesting works of art! I selected this card to case: TLC159 Cross by PickleTree at Splitcoaststampers.
I chose to focus on the cross in Amy's design for my case. I've had this design in my mind for a few weeks now, but bringing it to reality was not as easy as I thought. This rugged cross is from Stampa Rosa. I inked it twice, once in Tim Holtz scattered straw and once in tea dye. I sanded the edges on both. They are popped on foam and zots. I used the Ma Vinci's Reliquary unmounted 'Chelsea' alpha which is a very Frank LLoyd Wright style alphabet. HE IS
RISEN. This is inked in ColorBox sepia black and embossed in clear. O HAPPY day is stamped in Brilliance Rocket Red Gold and embossed in clear. My background paper is Cosmo Cricket's Chicken Little...up into the heavens. The elements I used are quite simple, but powerful, I think, for it speaks my heart.
Oh Happy Day!

This is astounding. The simplicity of it makes it stand out, with a stark beauty. But the message of course, is what touches my heart. Thanks for sharing this!

Susan, I know this speaks of what you hold ever so closely in your heart: Your card not only speaks volumes about your faith, but it also allows all of us a glimmer of what's most important...that which is held lovingly in your heart! this is a beautifully testimony of what's inside One4Joy. He is risen!
