This is my first attempt at making this box. I've never made any 3d item before, so this is a big first for me. My husband's grandmother can not have much candy and she really doesn't like chocolate, but she loves these Cadbury eggs, so I needed to make a small treat box to put them in for Easter and this is what I came up with.
I started with an 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock and then I scored each side at 2 3/4". Then I scored each corner diagonally to the 2 3/4" score. Once I scored the sides and corners I then folded the sides up and the corners out. The corners will cross over each other and then I used a jumbo eyelet to secure them.
I used the flower stamp from the ‘Springtime Smiles’ stamp set and I colored the images with my SU markers. The bunnies are from the stamp set ‘Tags & More’. I just stamped the bunnies and cut them out. The cotton for the bunny tails are from the end of a q-tip. I decided to add a handle to my box and I put a ribbon and bow on it. Then I attached the handle using a brad and a punched out flower from my spring bouquet punch. I made the grass you see inside the basket. I took scraps of matching card stock and I put them through my crimper and then I cut them into thin strips. Then I put three Cadbury eggs inside the box.
Thanks for looking!

This is just adorable! The ribbon added to the handle is a nice touch. Great job!
