I don't know why this was difficutl for me, I do hope I followed the directions, Jen. I picked the Su set, Neverending JOY. I have used the sentiment stamps in it quite a bit, but never the flowers...until today that is.
I approached this challenge for several angles and even packed the stamps and multiple images away in frustration! After some hours gardening instead, I came back at it refreshed! My Bunch of Tulips was stamped three times and colored with Marvy pigment markers. I fussy cut and popped on foam. I tied cotton thread around the bunches. I love how the pigment took to the stamps with different shades of red...My paper is MME Bohemia Bliss "Love of my Life" tiny dots and blue on the reverse. I used the nestabilities to make my rectangle mats...both embossed and scalloped. It is mounted on white cs which has been stamped with the SU Linen bg stamp inked in VersaMagic sea breeze...I purposely had an uneven hand on the stamping. My Happy Easter is stamped in a Matisse font with marker. I love this font. My second card is more serene in its' feel. I used the iris petal stamp along with the leaves/stem from the set. I inked them with shades of orchid. I stamped this several times and cut out extras for dimension. The Asian vase is a ToyBox image which was inked in Versacolor black and embossed in clear. I used Prisma color pencils and gamasol to add a hue to the fish and the water. I popped the vase and slid the flowers into the top of the vase. I used the fiskars eyelet punch to add interest to the same paper as before. I also stamped the white bg in the same linen stamp, this time with more of a firm hand, The Easter, from Paper Inspirations is inked with VersaMagic spring pansy.
So which one do you like the best...let me have it!

wowee kazowee, these are gorgeous Susan! I love them BOTH.... but if I had to pick one it would be the left, you know how I love those nesties! great job on the challenge and your fusssy cutting really adds such impact. love 'em.
Oh! I love both of your flower bouquets and how you popped the flowers up. Both are gorgeous but I am very drawn to the tulips. Great cutting job. I am glad you came back and worked on this again after you worked off your frustration.

Wow, Susan, these are both sooooo pretty. Love the bunch of tulips and the fancy layers behind them on the left and the flowers and vase are fabulous on the right...pretty punched edge, too. If I have to choose...the tulips as I am patiently waiting for mine to come up.

Wowza - they are both fabulous!! I love the dimension you got by cutting the flowers out. That must have been a ton of work. I have to say the purple is my favorite though, since purple is my favorite color!

Yikes Susan! I LOVE your cut out, popped up bouquets on both of these - that vase is stupendous! I think my eye favors the left one - something about the tulips and the yarn and all the panels - but I really love the vase on the right- why didn't you use it on both???!!! LOL
